Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla to inaugurate National Youth Parliament 2021-22
New Delhi: Showcasing a technology driven Parliament, the National Youth Parliament Organisation (NYPO) has organized a Budget Session by the youth of India on 7th and 8th January 2021. Five students have been selected from every state and Union territories to represent the voice of their state at this youth parliament, where they will present and debate the budget for various ministries.
Lok Sabha speaker, Shri Om Birla shall deliver the inaugural address at the National Youth Parliament, Budget Session 2021-22 on 7th January 2021. In sync with the vision of our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi to establish new practices in the society for contribution and popularizing the constitution among Indian youth, the National Youth Parliament is a major step taken towards achieving it. The NYP team believes that this is a small initiative organized in a very novel manner through the digital medium could pave ways for a digital parliament.
All youth parliamentarians have been assigned different ministries for which they have conducted research and have been guided by a set of experts for various departments of the Union Government. The proposed budget shall be debated on the floor of youth parliament and finally the budget prepared by youth of India shall be passed. A copy of this budget shall also be presented to the Finance Minister of India to provide a youth perspective on budget.
The pre-budget session kicked off on 6th January 2021 with expert speeches on various sectors of economy. The Youth Parliamentarians also released a well-researched document on the State of Indian Economy and Outlook for 2020-21, followed by the traditional Halwa ceremony at the Press Club of India. Mr. Rohan Mahajan, Secretary General, NYP welcomed the delegates from all parts of India and urged them to bring the perspective of various states, regions and communities, so as to unleash a new wave of inclusive growth to make India, a Sone-Ki-Chidiya (a bird of gold) again.
Founded by Mr. Kartikeya Goel in 2019, the National Youth Parliament is becoming a major movement with involvement and gathering of more and more youth willing to participate in debate in a civilized manner on the issues of interest to the youth of this country. He said, “The motto of NYP is that every voice matters and everyone should listen to each other’s voice. The Budget for 2021 is extremely crucial as it would be presented in the shadow of the pandemic. The budget for this year should cater to the needs of all 130 crore citizens of India, particularly those facing the brunt of hunger and poverty as well as a health and healthcare crisis.”

DGP, BSF, New Education Policy paving India Forward by Col.(Retd) Anil Pokhriyal, CEO of Management Entrepreneurship and Professional Sector Council (MEPSC), Developing Indian Railways for the 21st Century by Shri AK Sachan, Former MD, DFCCIL, Environmental Challenge by Prof. A. Kumar of TERI, India’s Healthcare Challenge by Dr. Rajnikant Srivastava, Director ICMR, Science & Technology Challenge for India by Shri Akhilesh Jha, Financial Advisor, Department of Science and Technology, Making India Atma Nirbhar by Mr. Ravi Pokharna, CEO, Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhin and Make in India, by Sqn Leader Prerana Chaturvedi, CEO, Rissala Electric Motors.
The main objective of NYP is to sensitize, involve and engage the youth in politics in order to have a better understanding of its nature. Such sessions are also helpful in building and shaping the political views and ideas of the younger generation with their contributions towards a better India.
राष्ट्रीय युवा संसद 2021-22 का उद्घाटन लोकसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ओम बिरला करेंगे

राष्ट्रीय युवा संसद संगठन (NYPO) ने 7 और 8 जनवरी 2021 को भारत के युवाओं द्वारा एक बजट सत्र का आयोजन किया था, जिसमे डिजिटल संसद के प्रदर्शन का एक अनूठा प्रयास है ।
इस युवा संसद में भारत के हर कोने की आवाज का प्रतिनिधित्व करने के लिए सभी राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों से पांच छात्रों का चयन किया गया है, जहां वे विभिन्न मंत्रालयों के लिए बजट पेश करेंगे।
लोकसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ओम बिड़ला 7 जनवरी 2021 को राष्ट्रीय युवा संसद, बजट सत्र २०२१-२२ का उद्घाटन उद्घाटन करेंगे ।
